BIRD OF PRAY

BIRD OF PRAY

Oh Mighty eagle, greatest of the birds of prey
Carry swiftly my prayer to the Great Spirit
That I might ask for the strength,
the courage and the wisdom
Of my Ancestors. I pray that during the hunt,
He grants me the stealth of the Great Mountain Cat,
The cunning of the Coyote and the endurance
Of the Great Grey Wolf
I ask this so that I might successfully provide
Food and shelter for my people
And if it is in His Great Plan.
I pray for peace and serenity for the rest of my days.
